Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated October 8, 2026.
This policy is for people in Washington, Nevada and other US states with consumer health data laws. It covers the Last Can app, made by Timotej Sofijanović in Croatia ("we"). Our Privacy Policy covers everything else.
Some of what you track in Last Can, like how many nicotine pouches you use, your cravings and why you want to cut down, can count as consumer health data. Most of it never leaves your iPhone.
What stays on your iPhone
Every pouch and craving you log, your plan, your prices, your history and the reason you wrote in your own words. We can't see any of it. We don't use Apple Health, and we never collect your location.
What we collect, and why
Usage data, only if you tap Allow when the app asks to share usage data. With it we see which parts of Last Can help people cut down, and fix what breaks:
- Pouches logged each day, your daily limit, and whether a day went over it.
- Cravings: when you open the craving timer, how long it ran, and whether you made it through.
- Your plan: quit or cut down, your pace, your target, the pouches a day you started from, pouch strength, and brand (from our list only).
- The reasons you picked from our list, like better sleep or your gums. Never the reason you wrote.
- Whether you reached your goal and how many days you've stayed there.
- Screens opened, crash reports, and a random ID for your iPhone.
Subscription data, to give you the Pro access you paid for: whether you have Pro, your plan, and trial, renewal and refund status, from Apple through RevenueCat.
Support emails, only if you write to us: your email address and what you tell us, to answer you.
Sources: you, through the app on your iPhone, and Apple, for your subscription.
Your consent
Nothing is sent as usage data until you tap Allow. You can withdraw your consent any time in the app's Settings > Privacy > Share usage data. Turning it off stops all usage data, crash reports included.
Who we share it with
We never sell consumer health data, and we never share it with advertisers or with anyone for their own use. We have no affiliates. Two service providers process it only for us, under contract:
- PostHog, our analytics provider (usage data, stored in the EU).
- RevenueCat, our subscription provider (subscription data, United States).
We would only disclose it otherwise if the law required us to.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Confirm whether we collect or share your consumer health data.
- Give you a copy of it, and the list of everyone we have shared it with.
- Delete it.
- Stop collecting it, by withdrawing your consent.
The quickest way: in the app, go to Settings > Privacy > Delete my usage data. It writes an email to us with your iPhone's random ID, which is how we find your data, since Last Can has no accounts. You can also email lastcanapp@gmail.com with that ID. It's free. We answer within 45 days, or tell you within that time if we need 45 more. We use your email only to handle your request.
Appeals
If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer with "Appeal" within 45 days. We'll answer within 45 days and explain our decision. If you're still not happy, you can contact your state attorney general: in Washington, atg.wa.gov, and in Nevada, ag.nv.gov.
